ADIDAS AND LABRUM ANNOUNCE FW26 ADIZERO RUNNING COLLECTION, FUSING WEST AFRICAN HERITAGE WITH PERFORMANCE

• The new adidas x LABRUM Adizero performance apparel and footwear builds on the inaugural collection, introducing another iconic LABRUM motif – the Olokun flower, inspired by LABRUM founder Foday Dumbuya’s West African heritage

• The collection celebrates movement as both performance and personal expression across ultra-light running vests, shorts, singlets, hoodies, t-shirts and the adidas Adizero Evo SL LABRUM

• First previewed during LABRUM’s FW26 London Fashion Week show, the collection will be available from Thursday 01 October 2026 via adidas.com, labrumlondon.info, the adidas app and selected retail partnersLondon, Monday 21 September: adidas and LABRUM unveil the second drop in their Adizero partnership, a performance-driven capsule for runners who move with intention and express themselves through speed and style. The collection blends adidas’ industry-defining Adizero franchise with LABRUM’s distinctive cultural storytelling, exploring movement as both performance and personal expression.

First previewed during LABRUM’s FW26 London Fashion Week show, worn on the runway by adidas athletes Daryll Neita and Sam Reardon, the collection is rooted in the idea that speed belongs to anyone who has ever run simply to feel free.  A refined seasonal palette of deep, warm tones, provides the backdrop for a collection rich in symbolism, with LABRUM’s Olokun flower appearing across the apparel and footwear. Inspired by Olokun, the deity associated with the depths of the ocean, the flower speaks to the ocean’s power of connectivity. The motif becomes a visual expression of diaspora, heritage, and the journeys shaped by what is carried across the water. 

At the centre of the collection is the adidas Adizero Evo SL LABRUM, a new design variation of the iconic performance silhouette that combines LABRUM’s signature design language with adidas’ leading running innovation. Featuring Lightstrike Pro cushioning and enhanced comfort engineering, the shoe is designed to deliver a smooth, responsive and dynamic running experience. 

The capsule is completed by ultra-light running vests, shorts, singlets, hoodies and t-shirts. Together, the pieces reflect a shared belief that running can be more than performance: it can be a form of freedom and identity. 

Speaking on the collaboration, LABRUM Founder and Creative Director Foday Dumbuya  said: “I grew up in Freetown, Sierra Leone, and carry the city with me everywhere – its colour, its energy, the joy and speed of its people. This collection is my way of saying: look at this place, these people, what they carry. Through themes of the ocean’s binding power, it celebrates the idea that you can begin anywhere, and that every destination is yours to claim.
